Privacy — your video stays on your machine
Your video never leaves your computer. FirstPass processes footage locally. The only things that ever go out over the network are:
- a small extracted mono audio track, sent for transcription, and
- the transcript text and pacing summaries, sent to the AI editor.
Your video frames, full-resolution audio, and rendered outputs are never uploaded. There's no cloud storage of your media, and nothing is kept beyond what we need to run the transcription and edit for that request.
In the paid (commercial) mode, that transcription and editing traffic goes through the FirstPass backend so you don't have to hold any provider API keys — but the same rule holds: only the mono audio and transcript text transit, never your video.
