Installing on Windows

Run the downloaded FirstPass installer. The app is code-signed, so it should install without warnings on current builds.

If Windows SmartScreen shows a "Windows protected your PC" message (this can happen briefly for a newly released version before its reputation builds):

  1. Click More info.
  2. Click Run anyway.

FFmpeg ships inside the app, so there's nothing else to install. The installer places FirstPass in your user profile and adds a desktop/Start-menu shortcut.
