Crashes and freezes
Crash on launch. Make sure you're on the latest version (see Updating). On macOS, open the app from Applications; on Windows, relaunch from the shortcut. If it still won't start, contact support with your OS version.
Freeze during a run. A cut can look stuck on long footage — the first pass scales with source length. If the window genuinely lost the connection, reopen the project from Projects; a finished run is saved even if the UI dropped mid-way.
Reporting a bug. If you hit a repeatable crash, you can enable anonymous crash reports in Settings — they send only the last log lines (with paths and emails removed), never your footage. Or describe what happened here and we'll pass it to the team with your account context.
